Bad Gastein Austria
The photo I took last month while in Austria it is proof that an image can evoke a mystery, a story, an emotion. It also is relevant to Hugh on his picture post, click Hugh’s
When I write, I take shapes to make my pictures, Shapes that teachers taught me to make as a child. I make them with a pen, pencil or electronically produced ink and they form the alphabet. When I put them in to groups or clusters they become words, statements, sentences, paragraphs, which grow into poems, stories, flash fiction, and books. I write imagery, truths bent to reveal stories, adventures from inside my mind, I pen feelings.
Every time I write, my purpose is to reveal a piece of me to the reader. A smidgeon of something; maybe the madness of how my mind works. But for me the main thing I strive for within my writing it to evoke emotion. I don’t care if I make you laugh, or make you cry I just want to move you.
That is the plan, if my words move you in any way let me know, if this is the main reason you write or blog put your words in such a way they make the reader feel.
I look forward to reading. Your replies
P.s. can anyone see the beautiful mountain dragon luring you with her open eye… i am sure she just batted her lashes.

Ah the lure of a beautiful mountain. And your words do move me. Forget the success and riches stuff, they are what every writer hopes.

It is a beautiful photo. I love the picturesqueness of mountains, but I’m scared of heights, so you wouldn’t get me further up on than the foothills. I’m more of a valley, woodland, meadow person.
Sadly, even after staring for a while, I can’t see the dragon, so she must be hiding from me (the rogue). :0)

I promise she is there,
her head lays across the left hand peak,
she batts her eye as we speak.
Maybe only loons can see? 😇

Thank you for linking this post to my weekly photography challenge, Ellen. It is indeed a beautiful and calming photo (even for somebody like me who is afraid of heights). 😄

Me too, heights seem to be my main drawback so many things are affected by it. Thank you for coming, did you see the dragon though?

In the mountain? Yes, I did. Being Welsh, I would hope I would not miss seeing a dragon.

This was the first post I read today. Majestic is the way it made me feel. It reminds me of my trip to Sicily and the adventures I had. The people and relatives their life style. The cobble stone streets. My book will take you there, There are 26 pictures included in “The Italian Thing.” The story is true, the people are real. It will make you laugh, it will make you feel the heart beat of Naro. That is what your picture has reminded me of. Thank you. :o)

You know what they say. “Be careful what you ask for.” Seriously, it really did remind me of Naro. If you do get the book and see the first photo you will know why.
